This year, the Argentinian and Chilean Botanical Societies met jointly in Mendoza and sponsored a full day symposium on Solanaceae. Stacey presented her flower color work and had the great pleasure of spending time with many of the world's experts in the family, including Clara Inez Orozco, Rocio Deanna, Segundo Leiva, Gloria Barboza, Joao Stehmann, Gabrielle Bernardello, Sandy Knapp, Dick Olmstead and Lynn Bohs.
