Starting the lab work

We've had an influx of new lab members this spring and summer.  New postdoc Max Larter is working on the evolution of gene expression during flower color transitions in Iochrominae, while Rocío Deanna is studying phylogenetics of Physaloids and collaborating on the Petunieae project. New grad student Sukuan Liu is starting his project on the phylogeny of the carnivorous plant genus Heliamphora while Luis Allende exploring his interests in convergent trait evolution. CU undergraduates Kevin Thirouin and Lexi Cantor have also signed on to work with Julienne in developing and teaching modules for the CU Upward Bound program as part of the Petunieae project.  We welcome them all!
