Jessica, who has spent the past year working as BURST student with Rob and Julienne, has been awarded one of two REU positions in Mitch Cruzan's Lab.  She will use a combination of next-gen sequencing and GIS to study dispersal and gene flow of prairie plants in Oregon and Washington.  We are going to miss having her around for the summer, but are very excited for her to have this opportunity.  Hello, Portland!  You can read more about what she'll be doing on the Cruzan website.
