It's busy times in the lab with a new crop of summer high school interns plus undergrad researchers. Keric, Lauren, and Jeff are working on the biochemistry and floral pigmentation with REU support from the convergent evolution project while Kai and Kat are working on the phylogeny of red-flowered Solanaceae. We have welcomed two new high school student researchers, Jessica from Nederland and Kathy from here in Boulder. Meanwhile, Mandy headed off to the Missouri Botanical Gardens to take part in their REU program in plant systematics, conservation and ethnobotany. We're looking foward to seeing all of their projects take off!
