Flavonoid pathway evolution at the IQ Bio Symposium

Biofrontiers Institute

The Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology program (otherwise known as IQ Bio) is an initiative that brings together labs across STEM departments at CU to support training and research. It is closely tied to the Biofrontiers Institute on campus (pictured). Many EBIO labs, including the Smith lab, are a part of IQ Bio and affliated with Biofrontiers.  This year, IQ Bio organized its first ever research symposium for students and postdocs, and Andrea shared her work on evolution of flavonoid production in Iochroma.
