It was a busy summer of conferences! In June, five of us (Winnie, Julienne, Stacey, Andrea, and Dan) went to Evolution 2014 in Raleigh, NC, bringing news about molecular evolution, flower color convergence and the genetics of species differences. A great time and much excellent NC food was had by all.  In July, Stacey and Rob went to Botany 2014 in Boise, Idaho.  Rob spoke about polyploid speciation in creosote while Stacey discussed tempo and mode of flower color evolution in the Phylogenetic Comparative Methods symposium.  Stacey took home the BSA Emerging Leader Award -- thanks, BSA!
