Robin Dowell & Mary Ann Allen (DnA) Lab
Christopher Ozeroff earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. Following his undergraduate studies, he dedicated several years to research in Dr. Leslie Leinwand's laboratory, where he focused on hypertropic cardiomyopathy and investigated the underlying mechanisms that distinguish physiological cardiac growth from pathological cardiac growth. After joining the graduate program at CU Boulder, Chris began his PhD work in the Dowell and Allen laboratory, where he now focuses on Down syndrome comorbidities. His current work examines how gene dosage of hematopoietic transcription factors contributes to the development of pediatric leukemia in individuals with Down syndrome.
