The R+PM Group congratulates Tayler Hebner on her successful PhD defense. Tayler is the first PhD graduate from the R+PM Group at CU Boulder.

Congratulations to Alexis Phillips, a 2nd year student in the R+PM Group, for her selection to receive the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Alexis is the 4th NSF GRF in the R+PM Group.

Congratulations to Kristin Lewis and Alexis Phillips for their selection for the prestigious NDSEG Fellowship! Both Kristin and Alexis are 2nd year students in the R+PM. They are the 3rd and 4th R+PM Group students to be selected for the NDSEG.

Check out the R+PM Group's recent review that just appeared in Nature Review Materials ! This review details the considerable recent progress in the preparation and alignment of liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs).

The R+PM Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Gaurav Pande! Dr. Pande is originally from India and completed his PhD research in Korea at Pusan National University. Dr. Pande's expertise in electrochromic devices will be leveraged in the fundamental examination of electro-optic responses of polymer stabilized liquid crystals.

The R+PM Group continues to rapidly grow. We are pleased to welcome Paula Pranda (ChBE, co-advised with Prof. Ryan Hayward), David Kennedy (ChBE), Kate Crossett (ChBE, co-advised with Prof. Ryan Hayward), and Maj. Jonny Hoang (MSE, co-advised with Prof. Mike Toney) to our group!
