The Responsive and Programmable Materials Group (R+PM Group) at the University of Colorado at Boulder is generally interested in realizing and enhancing functional performance through stimuli-response and directed self-assembly.  Our research is highly interdisciplinary, bridging chemical engineering, materials science, polymer science, mechanics, optics, and applied physics.

The R+PM Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Gaurav Pande! Dr. Pande is originally from India and completed his PhD research in Korea at Pusan National University. Dr. Pande's expertise in electrochromic devices will be leveraged in the fundamental examination of electro-optic responses of polymer stabilized liquid crystals.
