December 12-16, 2022: iSAT Team Heads to California for AIVO SAIL Conference!

iSAT Principal Investigator Sidney D’Mello, Executive Director Peter Foltz, Co-Principal Investigator Tamara Sumner, and other iSAT team members attended the AI Institutes Virtual Organization Summit for AI Institutes Leadership (SAIL) held in mid-December in California. This inaugural conference was an opportunity for significant interactions, discussions and building connections among 18 NSF and USDA-NIFA funded AI institutes.  The panel sessions featured speakers from various industries and institutes with the goal of sharing best practices and lessons learned in advancing and applying AI.
