iSAT Goes International!

Emily Doherty, a student researcher for Strand 2, is spending her summer working in Germany through the NSF International Research Exchange for Students (IRES) Award on Collaborative Research with the program: US-German Research on Human-Automation Interaction for the Future of Work. She is working under Dr. Susanne Boll of the University of Oldenburg, exploring facial expression tracking in virtual reality environments to increase social presence. Emily is also be attending the ACM Conference for the Future of Work (CHIWORK’23) that is being hosted at the University of Oldenburg the second week in June.
