Update Your Local Address

Has your local or home address, changed since you completed your preregistration items for this term? If it has, please update your address, as well as any other information (phone, emergency contacts, etc.) at this time. Maintaining current and accurate address information with CU Boulder is critical for receiving important university communications related to your status, studies and well-being.
Safety and emergency notifications require accurate student location information. Access to certain services and benefits are based on your location. Compliance with regulations for international students requires the University to maintain accurate address information. Ensuring your contact information is current allows the university to reach you with necessary updates, alerts and other important information.
How to do it
To update your contact information:
- Log in to Buff Portal.
- Select your profile at the top right.
- Select "Account Settings," then "Profile and Privacy."
- On the contact information menu, select the type of information you want to update (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts).
- Follow the instructions on the page to add, edit or delete (if allowed) your information.
- To review or change a different type of information, use your browser's back button to return to the menu.
