Elia Newsom is a Teaching Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. His chapbook of poetry, The Prophet’s Toothbrush, was recently published by Finishing Line Press and he has scholarly work forthcoming in the collection Radical Frameworks for Writing Transfer: Epistemological Justice in the Writing Classroom. However, he is most proud of his experiences teaching and working with students in jails, high schools, retirement homes, libraries, and colleges throughout the United States.
