Maps

Public Parking

  • Parking for the spring football game is on a first come/first serve basis on campus and you'll Text to Pay after you park for $10 in main campus lots. Staff and signage will be present with payment instructions in these lots.
  • There is no option to pre-pay for a permit this year.
  • Park on east campus, off Colorado Avenue & Discovery Drive, for $10 text to pay after you park. A free shuttle to/from the Stadium begins three hours prior to kick off and runs for one hour after the game ends. 
  • Parking lots open for the Spring football game parking four (4) hours prior to kick-off at 9:00 a.m., as you enter campus, attendants and police will direct you. Please review CU Boulder's Event Parking Rules.
  • Campus parking is limited. Please arrive a half hour prior to kick-off to ensure time to park and walk to the Stadium.
  • Allow yourself extra travel time as traffic may be heavy.
  • Folsom Stadium has a clear bag policy.  Permitted bags are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC not exceeding 12” x 6” x 12”.  One-gallon clear plastic Ziploc/freezer bags are also permitted.  Please leave all other bags in your vehicle.

Parking Lot Rules

To enhance the game day experience, ensure a safe environment, and preserve the beauty of the campus, the following responsible guidelines are enforced:

  • Parking lots open 4 hours prior to kick-off at 9:00 AM.
  • Police will patrol the campus and enforce the law.
  • Fan behavior such as physical disruption, inappropriate language, hazing, harassing, or menacing may be grounds for criminal charges and/or removal from the CU premises.
  • The following items/activities are prohibited:
    • Consuming alcohol or carrying alcohol in open containers in any street, sidewalk, car, alley, or other public area
    • Selling or distributing alcohol without a license
    • Providing alcohol to anyone under 21 years old
    • Providing alcohol to anyone who is already intoxicated
    • Driving under the influence of alcohol
    • Canvassing or soliciting/distribution not previously authorized by the University of Colorado
    • Deep fryers or any oil-based cooking or frying
    • Open flame fires of any kind. (Charcoal or gas cooking is permitted.)
    • Weapons and fireworks
    • Nitrous oxide tanks or balloons.
    • Saving parking spaces
    • Hiring of any third party vendors/consultants/entertainers to provide services in a parking lot without prior written authorization from the University Risk Management, Parking Services, and Police Department.
  • CU Boulder is a smoke free campus, this includes cigarettes, marijuana, and vapor.
  • The university reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any item or activity and to restrict vehicles due to safety reasons. At its discretion, the university may terminate or take other appropriate action against individuals, groups, or organizations whose conduct is irresponsible, unreasonable, or inconsistent with university policies and regulations, ordinances and laws.

After the Game

  • Due to the high-volume of outgoing traffic post game, it is best to avoid entering or driving on campus for 60 minutes following the end of a game. Fans leaving the game should expect delays of up to 60 minutes exiting the parking lots.
  • Permit holders who must drive into campus during post-game traffic must enter at Regent Drive from northbound Broadway. Show the parking attendant your CU Boulder parking permit (virtual permits will be scanned by license plate number) and tell them you are seeking access to your residence hall or work site; you will be directed to an available parking space. To avoid receiving a ticket please follow their directions.

ADA Accessible Parking

  • Parking for persons with disabilities is available in lot 360 (Colorado Ave).
  • If additional accessible parking arrangements are needed to accommodate fans' needs, please call Parking Services Events Parking section at 303-735-PARK (7275).
  • Text to pay after you park for $10.00

CU Students, Faculty, and Staff Parking Permit Holders

  • All CU Boulder permit holders working on game day or student resident permit holders will be directed to park in the C4C Parking Garage (lot 327) located off Regent Drive beneath the Center for Community Building. Permit holders from east campus may park in their permitted lots. Permit holders attending the game will be expected to pay game day parking fees to park in public parking lots.
  • Heavy traffic congestion and limited parking occur on all home football game days, so please plan your commute accordingly.
  • Campus Department Business permits, Vendor permits, Worksite permits and Emergency permits are not honored for personal parking during home football games.

Transportation Options

CU's Buff Bus and Other Transit options

  • CU's Buff Buses will be running the football game day route during the game—view the route map (PDF). The employee shuttles (shown on the map) will run from 5:30 a.m. and employee and patron shuttles will run from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 1 a.m to accommodate concert-goers after the game.  Route W: Williams Village will be running the regular Saturday route and schedule. 
  • Boulder has a variety of great options for getting to and around campus for the events; here are some tips to help you get to town and move around once you get here. Whether you are coming to campus from out of town or in Boulder, download Transit (App) or RTD's Next Ride trip planner to see options available, including from DIA Airport.  Once in town, ride the HOP for access from Downtown or 29th Street Mall, and use the CU Buff Bus for getting around between parking lots on Main and East Campuses.

 

Bike share

  • Boulder BCycle has more than 15 stations on CU Campuses and is great for getting to and from events.  

E-Scooters

  • Lime e-scooters are currently allowed only in select locations in Boulder, but are a great option for getting around from East Campus and west of 28th street.
