Students interested in applying for the Pre-Collegiate Development Program must meet the following requirements:
• Must attend a target middle or high school
• Be a potential first generation college student (neither parent has a 4-year college degree)
• Minimum of a 2.75 Grade Point Average
• Parents must be an active partner and participate in Saturday Academies with their student (typically 3 per school year, usually 8:30 am- 12:00 pm)
• Meet one or more of the following requirements: (a) be a member of a one-parent family, (b) be the eldest child in the family, or (c) have a strong desire to continue onto higher education
