Janeth Villalobos serves as the Coordinator for the Bridge Scholars Program within the Office of PreCollege Outreach and Engagement. As proud first-generation college graduate, she earned her bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology with a Minor in Business and a Public Health Certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2023. Born and raised in North Denver, CO, Janeth's journey from a pre-collegiate student to a dedicated professional exemplifies her passion for uplifting and supporting her community. With aspirations to pursue a career in dentistry, she is deeply committed to serving others and making a lasting impact.
During her undergraduate studies, Janeth showcased her leadership and engagement on campus. She served as a Coordinator for the Emerging Health Professionals and a Learning Mentor at the Student Academic Success Center (SASC), connecting with peers while supporting academic success. She was an active member of student organizations such as Global Medical Brigades and would participate in the Undergraduate Pre-Health Program at CU Anschutz. Her role as a Peer Mentor Leader for the Bridge Scholars Program allowed her to guide and support fellow first-generation students by sharing valuable resources and insights.
In addition to her campus involvement, Janeth has gained hands-on experience in her field as a dental assistant in the Denver Metro area. This role has enhanced her patient care and communication skills, particularly through her work translating for families and creating a welcoming environment for all. Janeth's dedication to her field and her community reflects her drive to inspire and support others while advancing her professional goals.
