Postdocs are invited to a special opportunity to meet Dr. Anja Armarche, Science Officer at the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, who will lead a webinar on the foundation’s fellowship programs this Wednesday, July 21. In addition, Dr. Sabrina Spencer, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, recipient of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Fellowship and recipient of the 2021 Damon Runyon-Rachleff Innovation Award, will provide perspective on how this support has influenced her training and scientific career.

The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation funds high-risk, high-reward cancer research and strives to enable young scientists who are brilliant, brave and bold enough to go where others haven’t. This webinar will focus on the Damon Runyon Fellowship Award (due August 16), the Damon Runyon Quantitative Biology Fellowship Award, and the Damon Runyon Physician-Scientist Training Award. Please visit the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation website to learn more about these opportunities and come prepared with any questions.  In addition to a generous annual stipend and expense allowance for these fellowships, the foundation offers a debt repayment program and a dependent child allowance.
