Chemical engineer/Graduate program member, Prysmian group • PLC 2018

Degree(s): Aerospace Engineering

Professional background, interests and expertise: I had a diversity of internships in college, working as a data analyst, a quality control engineer, and a lab assistant. I'm trying to steer my career in a renewable energy direction, which my current job is helping me do through industry adjacent experience. I have a passion for travel, which is also part of the reason I selected the job I have as I'll be spending 3 years in Europe for work. Beyond that, I enjoy helping people who are on similar trajectories to me in avoiding mistakes or getting advice I wish I would have had at their age.

Hours available for mentoring per month: 10

Best professional advice: Technical experience can be difficult to come by and most of the time you're going to be rejected from the opportunities that you want most. But if you take the opportunities that are available, learn from your mistakes, and focus on what really matters to you, you will find roles and life experiences that will bring you infinitely more joy than whatever you were originally pursuing.
