Research Interests

My research interests are in the field of plasma processing technologies, plasma surface engineering, plasma-chemical modification of materials, plasma synthesis of nanomaterials, plasma-chemical synthesis, coating and functionalization of micro-and nano-powders, electric propulsion, plasma modeling, plasma diagnostics, experimental study of electric discharge plasma, arc plasma physics, hypervelocity dust impact phenomena, computational thermodynamics and kinetics, heat and mass transfer.  Dr. Gorokhovsky is a co-investigator of the Institute for Modeling Plasmas, Atmospheres, and Cosmic Dust (http://impact.colorado.edu).
