Join us for various International Student Orientation activities Saturday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16. During orientation, you will learn about the university, policies and what it means to be a Buff! Get to know other international students and make connections as you start your journey at CU Boulder!

Saturday, Aug. 15

  • 6-8 p.m. | Optional meet-up for  international undergraduate and exchange students. Meet other new international students at our International Student Orientation social in the UMC Connection. Free pizza will be provided!

Sunday, Aug. 16

  • 8:30-9:30 a.m. | Check-in and breakfast buffet | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 9:30-9:45 a.m. | Welcome | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 9:45-10:15 a.m. | U.S. Classroom and Culture Shock Student Panel | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 10:15-10:35 a.m. | Intro to ISSS services and website/portal | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 10:35-10:45 a.m. | Break
  • 10:45-11:15 a.m. | Staying Safe in Boulder with the CU Police Department | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 11:15-11:45 a.m. | Honor Code Panel | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
  • 11:45 a.m.-2 p.m. | Required for some 
    • Exchange Student Breakout Session (required, with lunch) | UMC 235 
    • Sponsored Student Breakout Session (required, with lunch) | UMC Aspen Room
  • 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. | Lunch on your own!
  • 1:15-2:15 p.m. | Activities at the Recreation Center: yoga, soccer and more! (optional, tentative)
  • 2:15-3:45 p.m. | International Buff Campus Quest
