What to bring
- Comfortable clothes suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities
- Layers are recommended, as some indoor spaces may be cool
- Comfortable walking/tennis shoes
- Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended
- Shower shoes, shower caddy and toiletries
- Pajamas
- Remember that you will have a roommate!
- Laptop, tablet or cell phone to use for class registration, as well as the charger for your device
- Laptops are highly recommend over tablets or phones for this activity
- Backpack or tote bag to carry your laptop and any other supplies you need
- Photo ID
- Health insurance card
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, bug spray and/or other summer outdoor necessities
- Umbrella or rain gear
- Wellness/first aid needs, including any prescribed or OTC medication for personal use
- We cannot provide any OTC medications to you. If you are traveling from a region with lower altitude, we recommend bringing OTC pain relief medication (e.g. Advil or Tylenol) for potential headaches or mild discomfort
- Extra blankets and/or pillows, if desired
- Small travel fan, if desired
- Snacks, if desired
What not to bring
- Large fans or portable air conditioners (the residence hall is air conditioned)
- Candles
- Cooking appliances
- Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookahs, vapes, marijuana
- Alcohol
- Firearms or other weapons
- Fireworks
- Hoverboards, e-bikes, battery powered scooters
- Recording devices such as doorbell cameras and other personal security cameras
- Large speakers
- Drones
- Pets
