Arts & Sciences College Day

The College of Arts and Science (A&S) will hold sessions on Aug. 25. During College Day you will have a chance to connect with faculty, academic advisors, staff and students from A&S while learning about academics at CU Boulder. Learn more about A&S College Day.

CMCI Go!

CMCI Go! is your CMCI orientation on Aug. 25.

Following the Welcome to Our Herd event at the CU Events Center, students can check in for CMCI Go! at 9:30 a.m. at The Byron White Room on the east side of Folsom Stadium.

We will be joined by CMCI alumni and current students, will work through activities in small groups, connect you with your peers, provide you with some great swag and more! CMCI Go! is followed by an optional lunch outside of Buckingham Hall at 1 p.m. Please bring a refillable water bottle and your Buff OneCard to check in.

School of Education College Day

Join us for a day of fun, connection and information on Aug. 25. We will have great speakers, lots of opportunities to meet your classmates and some cool surprises too! 

  • First-year students - Start in the CU Events Center with your peers before breaking off to your individual schools and colleges. Your Journey Leader will be there to guide you through campus to your destination. 
  • Transfer and commuter students | Please note that we will be starting in the Kittredge Multipurpose Rooms at 10 a.m., we hope you will join us there. 

Engineering Launch

We are excited to welcome you to the College of Engineering & Applied Science!

Engineering students must check-in to Engineering Launch during one of our check-in times Monday, Aug. 21 through Thursday, Aug. 24 in the Williams Village East Lobby. Refer to the schedule you receive during check-in for session details and room locations for Engineering Launch on Friday, Aug. 25.

Environmental Design College Day

ENVD College Day is a two-day orientation for all of our incoming students.

ENVD orientation will run on Friday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Both events will be held at the ENVD Building on Main Campus. Both days are designed to help set you up for your fall 2023 semester at CU Boulder. You are expected to attend both days. You will begin Friday at 9 a.m. with Welcome to Our Herd before being directed to ENVD. 

Leeds Launch

We are excited to welcome you to Leeds Launch Day on Aug. 25!

This is the first time you’ll be gathered with all your classmates on the campus. It’s a great opportunity meet new friends from around the world and get to know some of the faculty, staff and alumni who will help support you on the way. We have a full day of activities planned for you to help you meet your classmates and get to know your way around the campus.
