We will be joined by Professor Dejun “Tony” Kong for a session in which participants will learn about research which shows that when supervisors express gratitude in an agentic or communal manner that matches employees’ preferences, employees will feel more appreciated and engage more frequently in voice.

Conversations with the Ombuds Office are voluntary, confidential and informal. The Ombuds Office is not authorized to receive notice of claims against the university nor are Ombuds mandatory reporters. We are not required to report any matters you discuss, unless there is an imminent risk of serious harm. By using our services, you agree not to record the conversation or call members of the office to testify in a court of law.

We assist all CU Boulder students, staff, and faculty with any university-related dispute or concern.

The Ombuds Office is a safe, credible, accessible and voluntary resource. Our services are offered free of charge. We deal with the widest range of concerns and conflicts within the university, exploring and analyzing all options.

Consults with ombuds are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call 303-492-5077. We are located in C4C Suite 484, drop by during our hours of operation to get an appointment scheduled. Call ahead to ensure that we are available. We are a small team and lock our suite when we are all busy assisting others.
