All independent student travel must be done at a time that does not conflict with the academic program or any required program activities.

Please Complete the Following Information:

Complete the Major/Minor/Certificate Evaluation Request if you plan on taking any classes for your major, minor, or certificate while abroad. Major/Minor/Certificate Forms should be sent to your relevant academic advisor(s). List your academic advisor and their email address below for the department evaluating this course. Not sure who your advisor is? Log into Buff Portal Advising to find your advisor.

To submit new Education Abroad courses for A&S Gen Ed/MAPS evaluation, enter your name and @colorado.edu email address below and click Submit. You will be taken to an online form, which contains additional instructions.  It is your responsibility to complete the form thoroughly and accurately.  If you don't complete this process correctly (or don't complete it at all), your graduation might be delayed.  Note the following:

Submit a Course Planning Form to your primary academic advisor. Note that this form does not initiate any course evaluations, rather it will help inform your academic advisor about your academic plans while you are abroad.

As you are working through both forms, keep in mind the following:

Complete the Course Evaluation Request for if a course you want to take is offered on your program, but it’s not on the Course Approvals List* or if it’s listed on the Course Approvals List, but you hope the class will count for a different requirement that it’s not already approved for.
