If your lab is responsible for replenishing cleaning supplies in one of the common kitchen areas, please consider purchasing eco-friendly liquid soap (companies include 7th Generation, Honest company and Green Works). Look for product options that don't contain phosphates, phthalates, triclosan, or SLS. (These types of soaps are also a great option for your lab!

July 19-30, 2021 – Annual DnA (Dowell and Allen) Lab Short-Read Sequencing Workshop:
Attendance is FREE!
Classes 9AM-12PM Monday through Friday in the JSCBB building at CU Boulder (CU Boulder East Campus)
You must wear a mask, even if vaccinated. We will adhere to campus COVID policies and social distancing.
Homework study sessions will be from 1-3PM each day, during which time you can talk to a lab member for assistance.
This class is geared towards people who have little to no Linux/command-line experience. We will NOT teach you everything you would learn in a 4-year bioinformatics degree. We will teach you basic commands you need to analyze RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and single-cell RNA-seq and, we will teach you how to find help when analyzing data.
The class is open to anyone (regardless of where they are employed). However, because of COVID policy, only 40 people may attend this year. Therefore, we reserve the right to limit the number of people per lab if we reach maximum capacity. If we must limit attendees, we will contact both the PI and researchers via email. The PI will make the final decision on which lab members will attend.
