CORE Housing Sober Living

The CU Collegiate Recovery Community (CUCRC) provides substance-free housing for incoming, continuing, transfer and graduate students. 

Eligibility

CORE Housing is open to incoming, continuing, transfer and graduate students who have six months of continuous sobriety from alcohol and other drugs.  

CORE Housing members are expected to attend at least two CUCRC meetings per week and one community activity per month.

Application process   

  1. Email cucrc@colorado.edu or call 303-492-9642 for an application.
  2. Complete and submit your application to CUCRC.
  3. Set up a personal interview with CUCRC program staff (available in person or virtual).
  4. Qualified students will be placed through University Housing. 

Cost   

Housing costs for each semester are collected at the beginning of each term. 

The cost for both the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters is $3,913 per semester. 

Please note: CORE Housing units are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If all available spots are full, students can request to join the CORE Housing waiting list.
