  Why do I need to share information about my parents or guardians?

Some of the information shared with University Housing is protected by the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, otherwise known as FERPA. If you want your parents or guardians to have access to this info, you need to tell us! 

Parents/Families: If you ever call University Housing and want to talk about your student, be sure to have their Student ID handy!
