CU Boulder is a Tier 1 research university, home to five Nobel Prize winners, 12 research institutes and 10 on-campus makerspaces in the best college town in America (Business Insider, 2018). The Center for Leadership supports leadership research across many disciplines, sectors and areas of interest. Our faculty and students engage with a variety of research-based approaches to better understand the world and the implications of the ever-evolving field of leadership. In particular, the Center for Leadership values leadership around mental health and wellness, diversity, equity and inclusion, and experiential education.
One of the many ways the center seeks to bolster its research branch is by providing financial support to faculty who want to explore leadership theory, practice or innovation. Through the Interdisciplinary Leadership Research Seed Grant, faculty can receive up to $5,000 per academic year for their research efforts.
Research conducted at the University of Colorado Boulder and supported by the Center for Leadership will empower programs across our campus to deliver world-class leadership education through research- and evidence-based practices, and lead to quantifiable, transformative effects.
