Welcome Max!

A warm welcome to Max Chalfin-Jacobs who joined the lab this fall to pursue his PhD as an NSF GRFP awardee! Max is a recent Middlebury College graduate who is interested in hybridization, speciation, and the evolution of alpine and island bird species. Specifically, he hopes to understand how allochrony and hybridization influence populations genetic variation and speciation in birds.
