This semester’s challenge was… Biscuits & Scones!
With more submissions than ever, the Spring 2019 Taylor Lab Bake-off set celebrity guest judge Dr. Erica Larson to task with carefully evaluating the crumb, the flavor, the creativity, and of course the bake of a very crowded table of treats.
Judge’s Choice: Katherine Feldmann’s Apricot, Ginger and Taleggio Scones
Runner up: Peter Innes’ Garden-Fresh Rosemary Lemon Cream Scones
People’s Choice: Danny Jackson’s Lavender Lemon Poppy Seed Scones
Honorable mentions were also given by judge Larson to the submissions from Dom and Georgy that were DELICIOUS, but not quite biscuits or scones.
