Three new Ph.D. students will join our group this summer: Cary Faulkner from Purdue University, Jessica Steric from Uni. of Alabama and Yingli Lou from Chongqing University, China.
Also, some of the new members also received a few awards before joining the group:
- Jessica received the “Dean’s Graduate Assistantship” from the College of Engineering & Applied Science at University of Colorado Boulder.
- Jessica also received the “Galvanize the Future: A Richard L. Brooks Memorial Scholarship” from American Galvanizers Associations. Only two of 40 applicants got awarded.
- Yingli received the “Dean’s Graduate Fellowship” from the College of Engineering & Applied Science at University of Colorado Boulder.
