If you are interested in sharing or giving your laboratory equipment, please read the following information to find out how the system works.

Sharing equipment: To make the most of the BioCore resources we are seeking shared equipment that is generally in good working order and will benefit other researchers in at least one of the associated departments. Shared equipmet is under a financial scheme where all users of the equipment share repair/maintenance costs, proportional to their usage. If a researcher breaks the equipment, they are primarily responsible for fixing or replacemnt.  Click here to share your equipment

When you share your equipment, you can do either of the following.

  1. Keep the equipment within your laboratory, but make it available to other researchers
  2. Move the equipment to a shared space (current shared spaces are PORT B056, and RAMY C335)

Giving equipment: If your lab is trying to free up space, clean out unused equipment, or get rid of broken equipment, the BioCore can help organize this. We will take any instruments that will benefit the BioCore, either for parts or to put directly into use. Anything that the BioCore cannot take in we will surplus or dispose of. Click here to give/surplus your equipment.
