Sally Simpson

Sally is a triple major in Jewish Studies, Linguistics, and History at the University of Colorado Boulder. She became a member of the board because Jewish Studies was where she found a small, tight-knit community within the larger CU-Boulder community and she wished to see the program grow.

She first discovered Jewish Studies through the cross-listed German Studies/Jewish Studies course German-Jewish Writers, and inspired by that course, she began to explore the program more. The faculty of Jewish Studies has pushed Sally to become a more engaged student at CU-Boulder and she is extremely grateful for all of the amazing classes she has had the opportunity to take.

Her favorite thing about serving on the Student Advisory Board is that she is able to help inspire younger students and students who might know less about the program to take classes in Jewish Studies. She sees the Advisory Board as her way to give back to a Program that has made being a student at CU-Boulder an amazing experience and she strongly encourages anyone interested in applying to do so.
