The Program in Jewish Studies would like to thank three departing faculty members, Dr. Zilla Goodman, Professor Liora Halperin, and Professor Sasha Senderovich, for their invaluable service to the students and community of Jewish Studies and the university at large.
We are excited to announce that Professors Liora Halperin and Sasha Senderovich have both received faculty positions with the University of Washington. While we are sad to see them go, we are thrilled for them, and we wish them all the best as they begin this new journey in their professional careers.
Dr. Zilla Goodman, one of the originators of the Program, will be retiring this coming August. We would like to congratulate Dr. Goodman on her well-deserved retirement, and we will miss her dearly. As a tribute to her many years of sevice, Professor David Shneer and Professor Sasha Senderovich are collecting testimonies, photographs, and other ephemera from her students, friends, and colleagues from CU Boulder.
