This workshop hosted by the Environmental Center covers idea testing, proposal development, pitch formulation and stakeholder engagement. Students will gain feedback and tools to build out and identify support for project proposals for the Sustainable Solutions Challenge and the Climate Action Expo.

New Venture Challenge (NVC) teams with founders who identify as female will compete for funding at the NVC Female Founder Prize Night! In a live pitch session, teams will present to a panel of judges, and winners will receive a share of $10,000 in prize money. Join us to support these teams and commune with CU Boulder students, faculty and staff entrepreneurs.

New Venture Challenge (NVC) teams competing in our Climate Prize Night have a venture that tackles pressing climate change issues. Winners will receive a share of $10,000 in prize money! There will be a live pitch session where teams will present to a panel of judges.

Join the Outdoor Recreation Economy program faculty and staff for a virtual Open House. Hear about how the program’s industry partnerships will help students launch careers or advance in the outdoor industry. The event will also feature a panel discussion from faculty members about the Outdoor Recreation Economy program's culture, curriculum, and career opportunities in the outdoor industry.

Join us to hear from past NVC competitors! We will have members of Vitro3D, Tissue Form and other NVC finalists share about what worked and what they would have done differently when competing. Food and beverages—provided by our friends at Trinet—will be served at 5:30 p.m. The panel discussion will start at 6:00 p.m.

Now What? lets students from all disciplines sit down one-on-one with a legal or business expert. Our business experts will provide specific, one-on-one advice about ideas or weigh in on the next steps for startups. Similarly, students can ask attorneys how to protect their idea, how to navigate regulation and any other legal questions they may be facing about their ventures.

A recurring series hosted by the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship in Leeds, each Startups & Sandwiches event provides up to 40 students with a unique opportunity to meet and network with executives and founders alike, and participate in a presentation, challenge, or discussion facilitated by our guest.

This workshop will teach students and ventures how to pitch their business or startup ideas. Learn to win the crowd and compel them to join your vision. This is a "hands-on" workshop. Five ventures will have the opportunity to present their venture's pitch to the group and receive feedback from the rest of the group.

The ASSETT Innovation Incubator engages collaborative teams of faculty, students, and staff in cycles of design thinking to develop innovative ideas for teaching and learning with technology. Anyone who teaches, learns, or works in the College of Arts & Sciences at CU Boulder can participate in the ASSETT Innovation Incubator 2023-26 idea submission process. A total of $200,000 is available to award to up to four interdisciplinary teams over the three-year funding period.

The E-Team Program supports student ventures as they embark on the path they're likely to take as innovators and entrepreneurs. VentureWell helps students advance their inventions through a powerful mix of up to $25,000 in grant funding, entrepreneurship training, mentorship by dedicated staff, national recognition and networking with peers and industry experts.

Get Seed Funding is a micro-funding opportunity for CU Boulder undergraduate and graduate students that provides up to $500 in funding for entrepreneurial ideas in the making. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by the Innovation Action Team.
