Get Seed Funding Provides Financial Backing to Help Jumpstart Student Innovations

Get Seed Funding is a micro-funding opportunity for CU Boulder undergraduate and graduate students that provides up to $500 in funding for entrepreneurial ideas in the making. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by the Boulder Venture Club, a CU Boulder student group.
Thus far, $2,000 has been provided to aspiring entrepreneurs and ventures. Below is a list of the most recent student innovations allocated funding:
Retrofuse ($250)—A platform that lets brands retroactively sponsor influencer content
Loop Sports ($200)—Revolutionizing sports media by targeting a younger audience through social media rather than traditional media
OKYO ($250)—Streetwear that’s both stylish and built to last
HoloAstro ($200)—A 3D holographic tool that makes space mission design easier
Tour The Hill Boulder ($400)—A student led walking tour that highlights The Hill, Greek life, restaurants, housing and culture
Alara ($300)—Ready-to-drink coffee-tea hybrid inspired by international drinks from Asia and Africa
Air Alert Technologies ($400)—Lightweight wearable device that protects wildland firefighters from toxic gas exposure
