Colorado Sustainability Challenge: Entrepreneurship is for EVERYONE

A row of lightbulbs representing individual ideas

Join us for the statewide 2025 Colorado Sustainability Challenge (CSC), a two-week collaborative event designed for anyone passionate about solving problems, teaming up on an idea and having fun in the process of building a solution to impact sustainability. Participants come from all academic disciplines—ranging from the Humanities to STEM—and have a shot at winning a share of thousands of dollars!

Hosted by CU Boulder’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, CSC is a hybrid event that takes place at CU Boulder and participating affiliate institutions. Sustainability problems can be solved with —or without— technology, and you can jump in solo or bring your friends and form a team. Whether you have an idea or are someone eager to help those ideas become real, this is an event you won't want to miss!

Who Can Participate?

CSC is open to students, faculty and staff at all Colorado Front Range colleges and universities.

How Does It Work?

The challenge culminates with the Finals at CU Boulder on Oct. 12—a celebration with prizes worth thousands of dollars up for grabs! Register TODAY!

Where Does CSC Take Place?

CSC is held virtually and in locations across the CU Boulder campus and Colorado Front Range colleges and universities.
