Walk-in and Screening Services
New to CAPS
If you are new to CAPS or have not been seen in the past year, please log in to your MyCUHealth portal to schedule an online screening appointment.
Screening appointments help providers assess your treatment needs and determine treatment options. They are also used to develop individualized treatment plans, which may include therapy groups, topic-specific workshops, community providers, short-term individual therapy and psychiatry or a combination of these services.
We also have a variety of workshops happening weekly that are a great way to get started with CAPS. Learn fundamental skills to work with your mind, manage stress and/or discover new ways of approaching life.
The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) provides free and confidential information, consultation, support, advocacy and short term counseling services to University of Colorado Boulder students, graduate students, faculty and staff who have experienced a traumatic, disturbing or life disruptive event. Please call 303-492-8855 during our business hours to initiate services and ask questions as we currently do not have drop-in hours. Fall 2020 office hours, starting August 17th, are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. After-hours (nights and weekends) phone support is also available at 303-492-8855, press menu option 2.
