COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance - COVID-19 Immunization Compliance Grace Period: Submit your COVID-19 booster vaccination requirement by 5 p.m. Sunday
Our records indicate that you may not have submitted proof of COVID-19 booster vaccination or exemption paperwork to the immunization portal. The initial deadline was Feb. 24; however, technical difficulties may have prevented you from uploading files yesterday or this morning.
To ensure you have adequate time to resubmit, we have resolved the technical issue and extended the submission period until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.
If you tried to submit immunization documents on Feb. 24 or the morning of Feb. 25 and encountered immunization system difficulties, or emailed immunizations@colorado.edu when the system was down, we encourage you to resubmit through the portal to help improve the speed of the verification process.
To ensure the fastest verification process:
- Resubmit vaccination requirement through the MyCUHealth portal
- Rename vaccination card image you are uploading to contain your name. Example: 2ChipBuffalovaccinationcard.jpeg
Reminder: How to Fulfill the Requirement
All faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students must complete the following immunization requirements:
COVID-19 vaccine: In support of the university’s commitment to health and safety, CU Boulder requires students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The deadline for compliance was Jan. 1, 2022. If you did not submit your initial COVID-19 requirements before this date, a registration hold has been placed on your student account.
(New requirement) COVID-19 booster: To comply with CU Boulder’s updated COVID-19 guidance, members of our community are required to receive a vaccine booster shot by Feb. 24, 2022 (now Feb. 27) or five months after receiving the final dose of the original series, whichever is later.
There are two ways to complete the vaccine requirement in the MyCUHealth portal:
Submit proof of vaccination
Input COVID-19 vaccine dose dates
Upload COVID-19 vaccine card
Once you have submitted all required documentation, you will receive an automated confirmation email. If you have incomplete documentation or if additional information is needed, you will not receive a confirmation email and the immunizations team will contact you directly. The verification process may take 7-10 days.
Submit a medical or moral/ethical vaccine exemption
An exemption can be submitted even if you had previously received a COVID-19 vaccination
Once you have submitted an exemption, your submission will be manually verified. The verification process may take 7-10 days. If you have incomplete documentation or if additional information is needed, the immunizations team will contact you directly. You will receive a secure message once the exemption has been verified.
