Terri has more than 25 years of professional HR experience in both the public and private sectors. She leads the Infrastructure and Sustainability (I&S) HR team, which supports the division with hiring, training and retaining top talent, as well as providing programming like mentoring, individual development plans and new supervisor training. Terri’s CU Boulder career began with campus HR in 2001, where she started as a selection specialist and was promoted to support the chief HR officer. Before starting at the university, she was a contract recruiter for Hewlett-Packard in Fort Collins. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health education from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from CU Boulder.
Terri enjoys working directly with I&S leadership on strategic initiatives, including her favorite, “Develop a Healthy (and Happy) Organizational Culture.” She relishes coming up with solutions for tricky situations. Terri lives in Longmont and enjoys time with her husband and their two kitties (and their adult children when they come visit).
