Ali received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.
After developing an interest in control theory, he joined the ROCC lab at CU Boulder to work on Optimal Control of Quantum Systems.
He is now a process engineer at EchoStar Corporation.
Outside of the lab, Ali enjoys reading, astrophotography, and tinkering with electronics.
