Elif is a graduate Ph.D. from the Construction Engineering and Management program at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She earned her Bachelor's in civil engineering at Istanbul Technical University and performed as a contracts manager in the oil and gas industry afterward. She completed her master’s program at Carnegie Mellon University in Architecture Engineering Construction Management program. Her focus of research consists of network and data sciences, investment strategies, organizational design, learning and knowledge management as well as construction interface management of productivity, safety, and cost.
