Decision-making is central to every management and most technical functions.  Uncertainty and risk are common components to the decisions facing engineers.  This course examines various techniques to aid in representing and analyzing decision situations and risky situations.  In addition to teaching the skills and techniques, the course will introduce you to new ideas and concepts regarding decision and risk analysis.  At the end of the course, I hope that you will be more informed, aware, and better decision makers in your future role as engineers, managers, and policy makers.
