Prof. Borden gave a workshop on ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging at the Anschutz Medical Center’s Small Animal Imaging Workshop . We very much enjoyed the opportunity to share our work and meet new colleagues and collaborators.
Prof. Borden gave a seminar on ultrasound drug delivery for the School of Biomedical Engineering at Colorado State University . They have a well-designed BME program and beautiful new building that should serve as a model for other universities.
We were pleased to host Assistant Professor Rik Vos from Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam for a fantastic seminar on ultrasound elastography imaging of the heart. Fascinating and ambitious work!
Professor Piero Tortoli from the University of Florence came to Boulder to give a superb seminar. It was wonderful to enjoy a couple days with this illustrious guest.
Graduate student Jordan Lum gave a presentation entitled “Single Microbubble Measurements of Temperature Dependent Viscoelastic Properties” at the IEEE International Ultrasound Symposium in Washington DC. Congrats to Jordan for an excellent talk!
We had a great meeting in NYC! Alec Thomas, Jordan Lum, Hunter Velds and Connor Slagle all presented their work. We enjoyed a full program of Emulsions, Bubbles and Foams.
Last week, Prof. Borden gave a seminar to the Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging at the Helmholtz-Munich research center. The group under Dr. Daniel Razansky has built an amazing suit of optoacoustic technologies there. Lots of amazing images!
