Virtual event review: Rec Center virtual core conditioning class
Even though the CU Rec Center is closed, the Rec Center trainers have worked hard to provide us with free virtual workout classes we can attend in the comfort of our own homes. This week I participated in a core conditioning class with Rec Center trainers Annie and Fred.
My experience
I have been trying to go on a run each day and following my runs, I typically do a core workout. However, I am sick of doing the same core routine, so I leaned towards the online Rec Center core conditioning class to change it up!
Annie and Fred took us through an intense 20 minute core workout. During this workout, we did several different exercises including crunches, leg lifts, bicycles, marches and planks. Attending this class was amazing! Not only did I get to enjoy it from the comfort of my family room, but I was also able to learn so many fantastic new core exercises to help change up my routine.
