Stay on track, set up an advising appointment for the spring

As you wind down with the fall semester, start planning ahead for a meeting with your advisor. Meeting with your advisor early in the spring will help you stay on track with your academic path, and give you enough time to make any necessary changes to your course schedule for future semesters.

During your spring appointment, talk through your course progression plan with your advisor. Are there classes you were waitlisted for this year? Are you considering declaring or changing your major? Have you thought about adding a second degree or a certificate program? Bring all of these things to the table during your appointment. 

Your advisor is here to help, and they want you to be successful at CU Boulder. Plan to schedule your advising appointment when you arrive back to campus in January.
