Friday night welcome reception @ Backcountry Pizza (Friday, April 5, 6:00 - 9:00 pm)

To those who indicated interest in the Friday welcome reception – please join us on Friday evening from 6-9 pm for pizza, salads, and beer at Backcountry Pizza. This will be a great time to introduce yourself to the other symposium attendees, catch up with old friends, and fill up on some much needed fuel for the weekend. If you have any questions regarding the welcome reception, please email Garrett Boudinot.

Getting to Boulder from Denver International Airport:

When flying in to Denver airport, the RTD bus called the Skyride (the AB bus) is the most direct bus for getting to/from Boulder. It costs $10.50 per ride. You can either buy a ticket at the machine at the airport bus terminal (if using credit card) or pay with exact change (cash) when you board the bus. If you need a receipt for travel reimbursement, all of the Skyride bus drivers are required to carry receipts for the bus that they can give to you.

To find the bus stop at DEN airport: Follow the signs at the airport for the main terminal. From the main terminal, follow signs for the "Transit Center". The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal by exiting through the glass doors and taking the escalator or elevator down to ground level. Machines to buy bus passes are located near the bottom of the escalator. Go to the Bus Gates; the AB bus will board at Gate 8. The bus leaves every hour (typically 20 minutes after the hour, but often loads 10 minutes before this time).
