What's been the best opportunity for you at CU?

The best opportunity at CU has been getting to connect with various types of organizations and people. This has allowed me to build a community for myself that allows me to feel confident enough to succeed and make connections of my own.

How has COVID-19 changed school for you?

I entered my freshmen year of college peak pandemic, meaning I spent both semesters online. It definitely changed my concept of what the 'college experience' is, given that I was unable to attend football games, make friends during in-person classes, or simply just exist on-campus.

How has the scholarship helped you?

This scholarship has eased the financial burden I face as a low-income, undocumented student and allowed me to focus instead on my academics, extracurriculars, and career beyond CU Boulder.

What are your future plans?

My future plans involve continuing to pursue my education at CU Boulder and building interdisciplinary skills that involve my current interests in psychology, business marketing, and computer science. In the end, my overarching dream for the future is to give back to my communities at CU Boulder and those outside of it.
