All faculty, staff and students are invited to kick off the new academic year at the Mary Rippon Theater. We will have pizza, ENVD swag and a special guest! Students should bring their Buff OneCards to claim their free gift from ENVD. We will meet behind ENVD at 5:00 p.m. and march over to the theater together. Help us promote this to all ENVD students! 

Month of Modern is accepting entries for the CU Boulder Design Award. Your entry should consist of projects carried out at CU Boulder. Deadline is August 31, 2019

First-year ENVD students are invited to learn more about the Emerging Leaders Program this Thursday. Meet the student success team, discuss your experience in ENVD so far, talk about what success means as a design student, plus enjoy a Qdoba burrito bowl.

New ENVD Instructor Melissa Felderman will be teaching students how to add interactive systems to their projects using electronics and single-board computers.

The workshop series will be held on the following Tuesdays, 1-2:30 p.m. in the DMC.

Drop-in academic advising is available for students during the first two weeks of classes (8/26-9/5) from10am-3pm. To see an advisor, use the NEW advising check-in system located at the Environmental Design front desk. Students will wipe your Buff OneCard, and select drop-ins with the Professional Advising Staff or drop-ins with a Peer Advisor.

The ENVD peer advisors will be available between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day to work with students on quick questions regarding class add/drop options, course planning, and creating support for students in their transition to college. They are welcome to meet with a peer advisor any day of the week and can check-in to see them in the front office.
