Bryan Martino, peer advisor
Major & Year of Study: Landscape Architecture (second year), Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
What is your favorite aspect of ENVD? I appreciate how we are small yet mighty; we have an incredibly strong and well-coordinated community. I'm also grateful for the quality of classes, producing industry-prepared individuals with robust design repertoires.
What are you looking forward to the most as a Peer Advisor this year?
It's a prime opportunity to give back to the ENVD community, which has given me so much. In light of this, I am excited to support students who have just begun their time here, to help them grow personally and academically, and to motivate them for the journey ahead.
What do you like to do in your free time? Running has been an addiction of mine for some time. I love discovering new paths and trails, and adventuring out on the weekends. Rainy days and snow is no excuse to skip leg day! I also love fishkeeping—I've kept pet fish for all 20 years of my life, and used to work at an aquarium. Someday I want to design custom aquariums and professionally aquascape (or incorporate this into habitat restoration as a career).
